Most people arrive with the same two questions: can this tattoo come off, and how long will it take. We would rather answer both properly than guess, so the first visit is a consultation and nothing else.
What we look at
We check the ink itself first: how old it is, how deep it sits, whether it was done professionally or hand poked, and which colours are in it. Black and dark blue clear the most predictably. Greens, light blues and some yellows take longer, and a few pigments barely move at all.
Then we look at your skin. Your skin tone, how you tend to scar, and anything you are currently using on the area all change the settings we use and how far apart we space your sessions.
What you will leave with
- An honest estimate of how many sessions your tattoo is likely to need
- A price for the full course, not just for the first visit
- Aftercare instructions to read before you commit to anything
If we don’t think full removal is realistic for your tattoo, we’ll say so, and talk you through fading it for a cover-up instead. Consultations are free, and you are not booked in for treatment on the day.
